Simple methods to remove mold from bathroom wall tiles

Caulking is a necessary element for the bathroom. It is applied to prevent water from seeping through cracks in the tub or shower and causing mold and mildew. However, over time, caulking can become moldy and difficult to clean. But not anymore.

Jessica from This Blessed Life reveals that removing mold from bathroom joints requires only two things: cotton rolls and bleach. A cotton roll is a ball of cotton that has been broken into one long strip. The cotton is then simply soaked in bleach and placed over the caulk.
Jessica recommends using a Q-tip to press the cotton roll over the caulk so that the skin does not come in contact with the bleach. It is advisable to wear rubber gloves when handling the cotton rolls. You should also ventilate the room by turning on a vacuum cleaner or, if possible, opening a window when left unattended (at least for a few hours).

After a while, remove the cotton rolls and wipe the surface with a damp cloth. Jessica says that since she has tried this cleaning method, the mold has not reappeared. If you too have mold in your bathroom, it is worth trying this simple but effective method.
