When it comes to housekeeping in our kitchen, the oven is undoubtedly one of the most difficult to achieve. In the oven, faces accumulate food and oil residues that, due to high temperatures and infrequent cleaning, harden and become very difficult to remove.
We have already talked many times about how to clean and degrease the oven without using chemicals, but in this article we want to suggest you a very small secret that speeds up the cleaning of the oven and helps us achieve better results.
The door of most ovens, in fact, is equipped with a lever that allows us to remove the glass of the door for easy cleaning.
This lever, which looks like a small hook, is located on both sides of the oven door, very close to the hinges of the oven door, those that allow it to be opened and closed.
To remove the glass from the oven simply open the door completely, locate the sticks and fold them with your fingers or with the help of a tool such as a screwdriver.
It is important to be very careful during this operation, both to avoid getting hurt and to protect the opening and closing function of the oven. If you are not sure, it is better to do a research on your oven model before proceeding with this operation.
Once you have removed the oven, simply clean it with a cloth soaked in a solution of vinegar and baking soda to remove all the stains and food residues that have accumulated during the use of the oven.
Caution: the glass of the oven door is tempered and therefore very heavy, as well as fragile. Take the necessary precautions.
