Vinegar is the make up for softer towels, whiter laundry and better washes

Aggressive chemicals are not always necessary to maintain the house or do laundry. Therefore, white vinegar is often the natural and ecological solution to achieve this goal. This is good because we will discover the many advantages it offers as a laundry product.
In addition to its use for washing machine maintenance, white vinegar has many advantages as a laundry solution. In addition to having antibacterial and stain-removing properties, it is an ecological and economical product. Here are all the reasons to use it as part of your laundry needs.

Why use vinegar in laundry?

  • Acts against the accumulation of soap
A buildup of soap foam can cause white or yellow spots and discolor dark clothes. To avoid yellowing and scratching, soak the laundry in a basin made of a cup of white vinegar diluted in 3.5L water. Then go to the washing machine.
  • Softens your towels
Vinegar is an excellent product to disintegrate detergent residues. It is therefore a good solution to soften your clothes or towels and presents itself as an interesting substitute for the softeners on the market. You can make your clothes look like new by simply adding half a glass of vinegar to the softener dispenser in the washing machine.
  • Does not stain clothes
Diluting the white vinegar, its acidity does not stain clothes. Dilute 1⁄2 cup of vinegar in the softener compartment of the washing machine.

White vinegar also makes for a hypoallergenic detergent. It is therefore an ideal solution if you have sensitive skin. In addition, as an ecological product, it is a great alternative to environmentally harmful laundry detergents.

As a stain remover, white vinegar is great for removing dirt, food residue and red wine stains. To exploit this capacity, dilute 200 ml of white vinegar in one litre of water and then pour the solution into a spray bottle. Apply it directly to the stain before putting the garment back in the washing machine.

Deodora
Whether it is sweat, tobacco or pet odors, these odors can quickly disappear with vinegar. All you need to do is add 1/2 cup to the laundry to eliminate bad smells. To combine the useful with the enjoyable, perfume your laundry by adding a few drops of essential oil. You should also know that this natural product can also be used to remove animal hair from clothes.

It is an alternative to bleach

Like bleach, white vinegar whitens clothes by removing traces of dirt without posing a risk to sensitive skin. To use, add half a cup of white vinegar to the wash cycle. Another method is to combine half a cup of vinegar, another half cup of lemon juice and 1 tablespoon of baking soda in a basin of hot water. Soak the laundry in the basin overnight before putting it into the washing machine the next day.

Prevents discoloration
Clothes can fade over time or due to factors such as the use of detergents or simply sunlight. To prevent this phenomenon with white vinegar, just add 1/2 cup to the laundry.

Cleans the washing machine
Many of us tend to neglect machine maintenance on the pretext that it cleans itself during washing cycles. A false belief since the machine becomes over time an outbreak of limestone, dirt left by clothing and bacteria.

To use it in this way, run the vacuum washing machine by pouring hot water and a cup of vinegar into it. This will reduce the build-up of fluff and soap foam. In addition, white vinegar is equally life-saving for other household appliances.

It should be noted that although white vinegar is rarely associated with the risk of allergies, its use may affect some of you. Hence the importance of diluting it in water.
