Naturally removes bad odours from pipes

The use of deodorants usually helps us to mask this odor, but its effects do not last long. Fortunately, there are ecological home remedies that we can prepare with natural ingredients to facilitate this task.

Why do bad smells happen in pipes?
Detergents and soaps
The constant use of sinks releases a number of chemicals that stick to the pipes in the form of grease, use them and give off a bad odour with each stimulus.

Water
There are areas in the pipes where water stagnates. It is almost impossible that this does not happen. However, you can clean it continuously so that the microorganisms do not multiply.

Leakproofness of the pipes,
taps and washbasins deteriorate due to moisture and mould. This creates an awful silicone odor, which is intensified by the formation of odours of bacteria.

Old Pipes These
are not only easily damaged, but also provide the best environment for the growth of yeasts and bacteria. Stagnant water and waste form layers that can clog pipes.

Residues
foods found in the sink are one of the main causes of bad odours or blocked pipes. For this reason, it is important to use a filter that helps to retain small food residues that remain on the plates.

Eliminates bad odours from pipes
It is a combination of sodium bicarbonate and white vinegar, two ecological ingredients that are often used as an alternative to commercial cleaning products.

Vinegar kills bacteria, germs and moulds, just as it can break down mineral deposits in water because it is an acid. On the other hand, sodium bicarbonate helps to remove fat and dirt.

You’ll need:
1/2 litre of hot water

1 glass of white vinegar

1/2 Glass backspray

What to do:
Bring half a liter of water to the boil, and before it starts boiling, add the white vinegar and mix well.

During cooking, mix the sodium bicarbonate in the oven you wish to clean.

Remove the mixture of vinegar and water from the fire and pour it into the sink to mix with the baking soda.

There is an immediate ebullated reaction. Try to close the inlet of the pipes with a cap. This will prevent water from falling on it for at least one hour.

Or if possible, let it work all night and repeat the trick at least once a week.
