Are there bedbugs in the sheets? Don’t worry, use this ingredient to say goodbye immediately.
Often and intentionally, bed bugs hide in sheets and are not seen until they appear on the skin. They often settle in the folds of the fabric when laid out, or to hide and not be found by guests. Experts have adopted a method that quickly scares them away, to be used as soon as their presence becomes invasive. Let’s find out together what is the main ingredient to use to eliminate bedbugs between sheets for good.
Bed bugs in the sheets: how to know if they are present?
When bed bugs arrive, it’s time to figure out how to keep them away, because they start spreading throughout the house, hiding in the folds of curtains and sheets.
Not only that, experts stress that the presence of bed bugs in the home should not be underestimated because they can also lay eggs. The shells of these eggs are very small and to the human eye appear as white, almost sandy grains. They are found in carpets, on mattresses but also on furniture filled with objects that are hardly ever moved.
Then there are dark spots, always in the same areas of interest, which correspond to their fecal matter or skin modified by the growing insects.
What is the risk of bed bugs?
Bed bugs are not noticed except when they fly because of the noise they make with their wings. Because of this, they are very adept at hiding in crevices-between switches, in the bedroom, and especially on the mattress or between the sheets. Their goal is to be able to feed after lying still for many hours without being noticed.
Once you go to bed to sleep, the bed bug settles on the human body and affects certain areas without being felt. The sting is felt after 10 minutes and takes the same form as a dermatitis or natural sting.
Unlike other insects, when the bed bug bites, you do not notice anything because it injects an all-natural anesthetic that inhibits pain and itching.
It is not necessary to buy invasive products or otherwise with chemical agents, because between the sheets it would be good to maintain a hypoallergenic and otherwise clean state. There are many natural remedies, but one in particular is feared by bed bugs.
We are talking about chili peppers, the kind usually used in cooking. Chili powder should be mixed with grated ginger and drops of essential oil, preferably oregano.
The ingredients are put into a cup full of water-about 240 ml-and then mixed in a saucepan that is brought to a boil. The substance is strained and poured into a small spray bottle.
As soon as the mixture is cold, it will need to be sprayed all along the sheets and the mattress: the smell released-great for bedrooms-will be unpleasant for the bugs, which will be gone in no time.
