Palmistry is a divinatory technique practiced in China and India over 5,000 years ago and passed down from generation to generation. It is used to predict the future based on reading the lines of the hand. In fact, one of these lines is said to bring good luck to the person who has it. Find out which one!
The hand has three main lines, the longest and most visible from a distance. The first is the heart line at the top of the palm, then the head line in the middle, and finally the waist line at the bottom. These lines change throughout life, depending on personality, attitudes and experiences. But what do these famous lines really say?
The meaning of the main lines of the hand:
Life line:
As the name suggests, it is a representation of life and its major events.
It begins between the index finger and thumb and surrounds it. If it is long and clear, it means that life is fairly stable (note that its length is not systematically related to lifespan). If it is interrupted, it indicates the presence of a risk, a major life-changing event. To try to predict when this risk will occur, it is necessary to convert centimeters to years. In this way, half of the line corresponds to half of your life.
The heart line :
The best known hand line is undoubtedly the waist line, but many people ask the fortune teller for their heart line.
Take a few moments to observe this line on your palm:
Is it long, straight and well-defined? Then you are about to embark on (or have already embarked on) a long and beautiful love affair.
Are they rather short? Then it’s time to ask yourself if you don’t have an annoying tendency to be a little cold and think only of yourself.
Is it interrupted? It could be a sign of a love breakup or a heart problem.
Head line:
As the name also suggests, this line provides information about your intellectual and mental abilities. Horizontal, it starts between the thumb and forefinger and runs diagonally across the hand. If it is straight, the mind is clear and sharp. If it is straight, the mind is more Cartesian. If it is serpentine, the mind is more intuitive. However, it does not measure intelligence, but highlights thinking, beliefs, morals and general attitude toward life.
The angel line or line of fortune
Unlike the first three lines, the luck line is considered a secondary line. It runs from the wrist to the middle finger. This line often reveals satisfaction resulting from occupational choices or other social tasks.
