Tips to make any shoe more comfortable

We certainly wore a new pair of shoes at some point, but unfortunately some parts of our feet are starting to hurt. We all know how uncomfortable it is to walk when that happens.

Maybe we have a party or special event and we had these shoes for the occasion, so we need to find a quick solution.

Fortunately, there are some tricks we can use to make our shoes fit more and more on our feet.

Without further ado, here are some simple tips and tricks that will help us a lot if we apply them:

1- Thick socks

Here is the first tip we can follow: before going out with new shoes, it is advisable to wear a pair of thick socks and put on the shoes when you are at home.

In this way, the shoes will get used to the shape of our foot, because the socks are thick, they can expand the shape a little. This will help a lot so that when you go out, the shoes are not so compressed.

2- Hair dryer

The trick to using a hair dryer is simply to find an urgent solution: with the hair dryer on, you slide it over your shoes. This means that we give warmth to the outside with the idea that the material of the shoe stretches and becomes more flexible.

3- Moisturizing cream, vaseline or talc
The suggestion is to apply a little cream or creamy lotion on the rough areas of the shoe, as well as some petroleum jelly or talc inside the shoe.

Undoubtedly, these applied products will help make the inner fabric of shoes more soft, comfortable and easy to wear.

4- Foam or silicone soles

The soles are very useful because their material is more flexible, with silicone or foam. They help make shoes more comfortable for the foot and prevent blisters and bruises.

5- Sanding the soles of shoes

If you use slippery shoes, you can use shoe glue and sandpaper. We cut and glue sandpaper on the sole of our shoes, to walk more safely and without risk of falling.

A very helpful tip is to place the bandages on specific points of our feet. For example, on the part of the heels where blisters form or in areas where it seems most convenient.

There is another trick, a little controversial, but if we want to try it, we can do it. It consists of putting a hot water bag inside the shoes, taking care not to let them flow. Once put like this, we put them in the freezer for the night.
